Climate art

Klimaskovfonden (The Climate Forest Foundation) is an independent state administrative unit under the Danish Ministry of Environment, that plants climate forests. At the end of 2022, they needed a certificate for companies and individuals as proof of their contribution to the climate forests. The requirement was that the certificates should be printable by the recipient, and that there should be a specific text on them – otherwise there were no strict demands.

Instead of a simple certificate, I created a concept that Klimaskovfonden could continue for years to come; An art poster that is renewed every year with a fixed theme (seeds). There is also the possibility of collaborating with artists on the motif in future years.

The project was made while employed by the design agency Design Fordi, where I did the research and concept, as well as the entire production of the poster (illustrations for 2023 and 2024, layout, etc.). The logo is provided by Klimaskovfonden.
